FLEX TPO WALKWAY PAD
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Flex TPO Walkway Pad is a thermoplastic walkway pad designed to provide protection to Flex TPO Roof
Membrane in those areas exposed to repetitive foot traffic and other hazards.
APPLICATIONS
Walkway pads are installed at traffic concentration points such as roof hatches, access ladders, doors and
mechanical equipment service areas.
BENEFITS
Flex TPO Walkway Pads are hot air welded directly to the TPO roof membrane for a permanent
installation.
Tread pattern is slip resistant.
INSTALLATION
Membrane is prepared for walkway installation by cleaning with Flex Weathered Membrane Cleaner.
Walkway pad is cut into 10 maximum lengths and positioned with a 2 gap between sections to allow for
water drainage. Do not cover the field seams in the TPO roof membrane. All four edges of the walkway
pad are hot air welded to the TPO roof membrane.
LIMITATIONS
Do not install walkway pads within 10 of the roof perimeter.
Walkway pads are considered auxiliary components and are not covered under the Flex Membrane roof
warranty.
